Fareham United Reformed Church celebrates Advent this year with the lighting a candle, accompanied by a new song - which has been written by John Campbell, and sung to the familiar tune 'God rest you, merry, gentlemen'. Verse 1 was sung on Advent Sunday (27 November), with an extra verse being sung each Sunday in Advent, and finally all 5 verses on Christmas Day. The themes of the four Sundays of Advent are Hope, Peace, Love and Joy.

Father Christmas delights young and young at heart at Fareham URC's Christmas Fair...

Fareham United Reformed Church was transformed into a winter market, a Santa's grotto and a festival of fun and fellowship on Saturday 3rd December 2016 as part of our annual Christmas Fair. A great time was had by all whether it was children young (and old) visiting Father Christmas in his home amongst the nursery rhyme displays, buying and selling home made produce and gifts, filling shoe-boxes for Samaritan's Purse or meeting friends over a drink and a mince pie.
