Junior worship and learning activities

During the pandemic our junior church activities were not able to meet as we would have done in the past. We are gradually increasing what we can offer our children and young people but that does not mean you miss out on the various activities. Our Prayers this month

Every week please pray for our Elders, Church Officers, members and friends as we move forward, to ask God to show us the ways He wants us to take. Pray also for those who lead our worship.

1st – 5th December

Give thanks to God for the wonder of creation and pray that people will care for every part of it and encourage others to do the same.

Pray for people receiving good and bad news

Pray for everyone who brings hope to others

6th – 11th December

Give thanks to the Lord that we can be confident that He is in control of matters large and small in the world and for each one of us.

Pray for those setting out on or continuing travelling on a journey not sure what they will find.

Pray for those who will share in special services over the Christmas period for maybe the only time this year… may they be blessed.

12th – 18th December

Give thanks for family and friends that they may know God’s love.

Pray for the Mission Aviation Fellowship personnel as they care for and help people in many areas and pray for their safety.

Pray for the many areas in the world where Covid infection is spreading and vaccinations are not available.

19th – 25th December

Give thanks that Father God sent His Son into the world to be our Saviour

Pray for all who this Christmas will share the Good News of Jesus.

Pray for those who have been bereaved during this year and especially for those who will spend Christmas alone.

Enjoy some peace as we welcome the Prince of Peace.

26th – 31st December

Give thanks that we can trust that Lord always keeps His promises

Pray for those who need to know the love of Jesus and ask the Lord to help you to share it with them

Coronavirus and the Church

In line with advice from the United Reformed Church and Government guidance we continue to monitor how we conduct services of worship, meetings, and other church activities during the pandemic. The elders will keep in touch with our members and regular visitors on a weekly basis through our weekly notice sheet. Our church is open for Sunday worship in person and via Zoom, and all can access links to a wide range of worship resources and guidance, which is published by the national office regularly updated.

Please continue to pray for all our church families, friends and all those associated with our church. Please pray for your neighbourhoods and all those people who are providing essential services to our community. We will provide new information by email and telephone calls to members, and post regular updates to our website as the situation changes.
