Junior worship and fellowship
Junior Church takes place every Sunday morning and is open to all ages. Young people and children take part in the beginning of morning worship and then join in age-related groups for a variety of activities.
Families with babies and pre-school children are welcome to sit anywhere in the sanctuary, or in the safe area at the back of the church, so that everyone can participate in worship. Soft play bags are available for the very young.
Fun for Under Fives (FfUFs) runs every Monday morning in term-time for pre-school children and accompanying adults. The session includes play, craft activities, story time, songs and a prayer.
Messy Church is normally held on the first Monday of school holidays except Bank Holidays. All ages are welcome, accompanied by an adult. A fun morning, including a variety of craft activities, a short time of worship, and a light lunch. There is no charge for Messy Church, but booking is essential - please text 0748 472 7777. The next Messy Church event is on Monday, 27th October - Light Party between 4 and 6 pm. Please note the change of time.

Parent Free Zone Youth Group
Every month we host PFZ (Parent Free Zone) Youth Group on the second Sunday of the month between 5.00pm and 7.00pm, on behalf of Christians Together in Fareham. All children from 8 years of age are welcome.
Children and young people can choose to play a range of table games, table football, table tennis or air hockey. The evening also includes team games, a short time of reflection, and a cooked meal is provided.
An enjoyable opportunity for young people from the local churches to meet together for fun, faith and friendship. Booking is essential - please text 07484 727777

Our prayers this month
Every week pray for our Church Officers, Elders, all who lead worship, those who provide and show the PowerPoint and work the camera and microphones, those who provide music during times of worship, those who prepare the flowers and those who provide welcome and hospitality.
28th September – 4th October Season of Creation 4
To ponder: Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord their God. He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them – he remains faithful for ever. (Psalm 146:5-6, NIV)
- Give thanks for relationships with friends and family and our fellow Christians; for the richness that they add to our days and make our life worth living.
- Pray for people who feel unable to love others because they cannot love themselves.
- Lord, help us to know you are with us both when things work out just as we planned and when everything seems to go wrong.
5th – 11th October
To ponder: But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. (1 Peter 2:9, NIV)
- Pray for those touched by the tragic events in Manchester.
- Eternal God, we remember before You those who have lost their lives, and their family, friends, and communities, may your perpetual light shine upon them, and give them peace
12th – 18th October
To ponder: Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. (1 Corinthians 12:27, NIV)
- Give thanks for each member and adherent of our church and those who have been part of our church fellowship over the years.
- Pray for all in leadership roles that they may continue to lead with compassion and integrity.
- Pray for those considering standing for eldership in the forthcoming election.
- Lord God, help us to be aware of your presence, it is our assurance.
19th – 25th October
To ponder: Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. (Ephesians 2:19-20, NIV)
- Give thanks for all the people who make up our community of Fareham.
- Pray for those who find it difficult to be part of a church community that they will find somewhere to feel welcome.
- Loving God, help us to be kind to strangers and to those in need.
26th October – 1st November
To ponder: You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. (Matthew 5:14-15)
- Give thanks for the friendships we have within our church.
- Pray for people who need a friend at this time, asking that they find comfort and companionship; and consider reaching out to someone who may be feeling lonely, so they might experience the warmth of friendship.
- God of light, shine in our hearts, dispelling darkness and filling our lives with understanding, compassion, and hope.
